In two decades, DISHA’s organizational structure has matured and been modified to respond to the demands of members. In its current form, Village-level mandals are linked to block-level clusters, which are amalgamated into nodal associations, eventually forming a confederation of associations, with Disha being the apex coordinating core. This organic structure enables grassroots issues to be escalated to policy-related demands at the district, state and national level.
