  • 68000 forest land cultivators prior to 1980 received 1.25 lac hectare forest land & 32647 families received forest Land entitlement.
  • Enactment of Forest Rights Act-2006, recommendation of joint ownership on name of man & wife accepted by Ministry.
  • Enactment of Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Garatee Act (MGNREGA-2005).
  • Formation of NREG workers Association (2006).

  • Due wages payment through NREGA workers Association of Rs 16.70 crore.

  • A child Rights Collective of DISHA founded in 2008 to promote & ensure realization of child rights in Gujarat. Dhruv has touched & positively impacted the lives of 37913 children.
  • Government issued multi purpose identification cards to 37 Agricultural Labourers through Agriculture workers Association.
  • Crucial role played by Construction Workers Association in creation of Gujarat Welfare Board for Construction Workers.
  • Formation of Poorva Patti Vikas Manch (2003).
  • Formation of Tarvariya Taru Sanghtan (2003) – Association of youth to promote leadership in youth and to raise issue of unemployment, higher education. 5781 youth are the members in Association.
  • Foot March (Padyatra) for Right to water for irrigation from Narmada dam covering 997 villages in 21 blocks in 3 districts.
  • 119 wells in 43 villages being recharged benefiting 1103 families for irrigation. 3 Grain Banks were set up and 6511 fruits plants were given to 479 beneficiaries in 45 villages under Horticulture program.
  • 251 community wells and other water harvesting structures constructed through the MGNREGA programme by DISHA.
  • Wages of Agriculture labour increased to Rs 15 to Rs134 benefited 57 lakhs Agriculture labour of Gujarat.
  • Increased wages for tendu leaf collectors from Rs 5 to Rs 80 benefited 1 lakh women tendu leaves collectors.
  • Increase wages of Forest workers from Rs 13.10 to Rs 202.40 benefited 18000 forest workers.
  • Women Right Initiative in 2012 – a federation of women’s groups formed to promote leadership among women & to make collective efforts to raise & resolve women’s socio-economic –political issues through interventions including Awarness building, Education, campaigns, trainings, savings, credit & employment provisions.
